Northern Lights - Fire in the Sky brooch
Northern Lights - Fire in the Sky brooch.
I called this Fire in the Sky. Some Algonquin peoples believed their cultural hero, Nanahbozho, relocated to the far north after he finished creating the Earth. He lit large fires, which reflected back to his people in the form of the northern lights. This let them know he was thinking of them, even though they were far apart.
This image is affixed to a bronze tone brooch setting measuring 40mmx50mm across the widest points with glass covering the image.

My products are meticulously handmade one piece at a time. Due to this process, there may be a slight variation from one item to the next. Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of handmade products, so you may expect minor distinctions/imperfections that will make your purchase special and truly one of a kind.
